Pairing an Enterprise-Class UCD Solution with Plantronics Bluetooth
While real-time quality monitoring isn’t new to Nectar UCD, Nectar UC Diagnostics for Plantronics goes one step beyond typical session monitoring and extends the network to Plantronics Bluetooth headset connection quality. This allows network support engineers to separate network issues from end-user hardware issues, filling in the final gap in network quality monitoring and troubleshooting. Where quality issues outside of the application or network were once invisible, they’re now accessible in real-time. This new level of visibility can allow support professionals to identify whether the cause of quality loss is due to user behavior, environmental factors, or device-specific issues.
Another Powerful Tool in The Nectar UCD Toolkit
Nectar UCD’s network-level correlation engine allows Support teams to see a wide variety of network and application data, even across platforms that may not be directly compatible with one another. Support engineers can already see end-to-end network and call application data within the Nectar interface. Now they will be able to view Plantronics Pro Manager radio link quality data, which captures device connectivity data, session specific Bluetooth data, and other device info such as headset type, a Bluetooth indicator, and color-coded health indicators.
