David Giangano – Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Giangano co-founded Nectar in 2006 to bring “straight talk” to the world of Unified Communications by simplifying the management and monitoring of an otherwise complex process. In 2008, he developed and launched Nectar’s world-class channel program and served as the President of Global Channels, where he oversaw Nectar’s complete go-to-market strategy. Mr. Giangano fostered constant technical innovation within Nectar and drove broad market adoption through its global channel and OEM partnerships, making it the de-facto standard for advanced Unified Communication diagnostic monitoring and management. In 2002 Mr. Giangano founded Juma Technology, an Avaya Platinum Business Partner specializing in IP convergence. There he established a reputation as the industry leader in Voice & Data IP Convergence. The company increased its revenue by 2,782% in less than five years. Mr. Giangano served from 2000 to 2002 as Senior Vice President of Engineering and System Services at 5B Technologies. From 1997 to 2000 he founded and operated Tailored Solutions. Earlier, Mr. Giangano spent 10 years with Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Senior Design Engineer and Project Leader. Mr. Giangano holds multiple patents in such disciplines as data encryption, data acquisition and digital signal processing. His technical writings have been published in NASA and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) journals and magazines. Mr. Giangano earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Anthony Fernandez – Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Fernandez joined the Company in 2006 and is responsible for all financial matters related to the Company, including investor relations and Mergers and Acquisitions. He served as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors from November 2006 until April 2008. In 2011, Mr. Fernandez began taking on a broader role assisting operations, project management and various other departments. In 2013, the Board of Directors recognized his accomplishments and Mr. Fernandez was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Fernandez was the Director of Finance for Lexington Corporate Properties Trust where he was responsible for SEC filings, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and audit compliance. From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Fernandez was the Corporate Controller for Register.com, Inc. Mr. Fernandez managed a significant investment portfolio, all SEC reporting and compliance, tax compliance and financial computer systems implementations. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Fernandez was the Chief Financial Officer for 5B Technologies Company, a public technology and employee staffing company. Prior to this time, Mr. Fernandez had eight years of public accounting experience with various firms. Mr. Fernandez is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York and obtained his BS in Business Administration, with a minor in finance, from New York Institute of Technology and an MBA in Accounting from Hofstra University.
Joseph Fuccillo – Chief Technology Officer
Prior to becoming the Company’s Chief Technology Officer in 2006, Mr. Fuccillo served as CTO for Juma Technologies 2003-2006. From 1999 to 2003, he served as Senior Vice President at Xand Corporation, an IT hosting and managed services provider, from 1999 to 2003. During his tenure at Xand Corporation, Mr. Fuccillo was credited with building the company’s IT hosting business into a $10 million revenue unit. In 1998, Mr. Fuccillo founded Incisive Technologies, an independent IT consultancy and value added reseller that provided systems design and implementation services. From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Fuccillo led the technology team at Westcon, a major distributor of high-end network and related security products. Mr. Fuccillo began his career as a communications analyst with Orange and Rockland Utilities in 1993. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College and is a certified technician in a variety of areas.
Frances Vinci – Executive Vice President
As Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Nectar Services Corp., Frances Vinci has worked with fellow Co-Founders to position the company as a leader in the managed services and network monitoring industry. Ms. Vinci maintains over 20 years of experience in Sales and Human Resources. During her professional tenure, Ms. Vinci has demonstrated her superior management abilities and has established a proven record of sales and organizational success. In her capacity as Nectar’s Executive Vice President, Ms. Vinci is responsible for the overall management, functionality and coordination of the Nectar organization and its offices. She oversees the company’s Human Resources, Real Estate Management and Office Management functions and is also on the Channel Management Team supporting a list of Partners. At Nectar, Ms. Vinci promotes good employee relations and a harmonious working environment while simultaneously developing and implementing policies and procedures to govern the business and its workforce. In 2002, Ms. Vinci managed the recruitment division at 5B Technologies, a NASD publicly traded company. During her tenure at 5B, from 1999 to 2002, she also designed and implemented the company’s IT outsourcing and consulting division, with substantial contribution to the bottom line.
Ken Archer – Chief Revenue Officer
Ken Archer is Chief Revenue Officer for Nectar. Mr. Archer oversees Nectar’s global sales, revenue goals and strategic partnerships. With over 37 years of sales and management experience in the technology sector, Ken headed and grew North American Channels for Avaya from $1B in 2005 to over $2B by 2007, and most recently served as the Vice President of Global Channels for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) where he was responsible for $8B in channel services revenue. There, he accelerated the sales and revenue growth through the design and implementation of a world class channel program. He has extensive experience in managing various channel partner organizations, managed services providers and strategic manufacturers. Mr. Archer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from West Chester University, an Executive Master of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an International Business Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University/Wroxton College in the UK.
Christopher Joe – Senior Vice President, Global Sales
Chris Joe is responsible for Nectar’s worldwide sales strategy and execution. Chris is responsible for growing the global revenue, driving strategic partnerships, and strengthening Nectar’ business experience for both partners and customers. Chris has extensive experience in developing technology sector channel strategies for networking hardware, on-premise software, and cloud service providers. Chris has over twenty years of experience as a Channel Sales Executive from his time at Banyan Systems, 3Com, Filanet, Avaya and most recently, Akamai Technologies, Inc. Over a six year period Chris served as the Senior Director of Systems Integration and Cloud Service Providers for the Americas at Akamai, with his most recent role in the company focused on expanding Akamai’s Latin America market. Chris also developed and launched the first channel initiative supporting the Akamai Intelligent Platform.
Tom Tuttle – Senior Vice President, Strategic Alliances & Enterprise Sales
As Senior Vice President, Tom is responsible for Nectar’s UC Strategy and overall relationships and key initiatives with Microsoft and Cisco. His team also has direct support for several of Nectar’s most strategic Service Integrators and Service Providers. Tom has extensive experience with the UC market and previously led Nectar’s Microsoft Practice. With over 25 years in the networking and software industry, Tom joined Nectar from Netsocket, Inc. where he served as Vice President – Business Development. Prior to that Tom was the Senior Vice President of Sales for Plato Learning, until their acquisition in 2010. He has also held senior-level roles at AT&T, Gateway, Level (3) Communications, and Orange Business Services, working with Fortune 500 companies such as: American Airlines, IBM, HP, Dell, AT&T, British Telecom, Verizon, Northrop Grumman, and CSC. Tom has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a major in Marketing from the University of Nebraska, along with an advanced studies program at the Wharton School of Business.
Matt Christopher – Vice President, Customer Experience
Matt Christopher is charged with championing and driving channel and sales operations with an emphasis on improving the customer experience. Christopher brings a diverse background of experience and expertise including sales, sales engineering, sales management and channel management supporting Microsoft, Avaya and Cisco. Prior to joining Nectar, he held the position of Director Global Alliances responsible for working with the Americas Microsoft Lync Alliance. Previously, Matt had been the Voice Partner Development Manager for Microsoft where he led the recruitment, onboarding, and support of Microsoft Lync business partners. He also served in various alliance and account management roles at Avaya and Nortel. Mr. Christopher holds an MBA from UCLA and a BBA from The George Washington University.
Russell Wiant – Vice President, Product
Russell Wiant is responsible for product management and product development. He drives product strategy and execution for Nectar’s unified communications software portfolio. Russell’s teams are responsible for designing and delivering the innovative software solutions used by Nectar’s managed service providers and enterprise customers. Prior to joining Nectar, Russell led the customer support and sales engineering teams for Software-Defined Networking innovator, Netsocket. He has also served in engineering roles where he was responsible for the design, development, and support of software and hardware products at Alcatel-Lucent, Chiaro Networks and BrightLink Networks. Russell holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Southern Methodist University
Jamie Ryan – Vice President, NA Partners
Jamie Ryan is Vice President of Partners for Nectar. Jamie is responsible for managing Nectar’s relationships with National partners. Prior to joining Nectar, Mr. Ryan was Vice President of Sales, Northeast for a major Avaya partner, where he also launched and led the Intelligent Communication Alliance. Mr. Ryan has held executive sales leadership positions for a variety of national telecommunications resellers. He began his distinguished sales career in 1988 at AT&T, where he was three times elevated to the “Leaders Council,” the company’s highest recognition for the top two percent of sales representatives worldwide. Mr. Ryan moved from AT&T to Lucent, an AT&T spinoff, and in 1998 moved to Expanets, a spinoff of Lucent. When Expanets was sold to Avaya in 2004, Mr. Ryan moved his entire team to PhoneXtra, where he served as a Partner and Vice President of Sales. PhoneXtra was sold to a major Avaya partner in 2008, and Mr. Ryan led sales operations for the unit. Mr. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Farleigh Dickenson University.
