Strategic Partner Manager

Location: Jericho, NY (Preferably)
Role to be based in a Nectar office facility

Strategic Partner Manager Job Profile and Description:
A Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) job is primarily a sales function focused on facilitating business growth by supporting a partner channel community and solution selling in close conjunction with a Nectar outside sales representative. Partner and customer interfacing includes timely response to quotation requests, order placement, expediting, changes, and communicating pertinent information proactively back to partners and customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Extensive Telephone time
Outbound and inbound lead development
Partner account administrative management
Select direct customer administrative management
Updating of accurate information in Customer Relationship Management system
Coordinating with internal groups and resources to drive a positive partner and customer experience when interacting with Nectar. Items include but are not limited to:
Orders and Software License Key Generation
Access to sales and technical related questions and documentation
Coordinating demonstrations of our software to prospective partners and customers
Coordinating meetings and conference calls with appropriate resources within Nectar addressing opportunity requirements or issue resolution
Maintaining and expanding the database of prospects of the organization
Identify decision makers amongst the targeted leads and initiate sales process
Participating fully in product training sessions, meetings, skills training and
professional development classes when offered
Handling renewals, cancellations or changes to contracts/orders and communicating the changes with the related department(s).

Skills and Specifications:
Highly energetic and self-starter
Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and
Excellent telephone sales personality skills
Should be expert in CRM software solutions, including Salesforce
Prominent organization and presentation skills
Excellent time management skills
Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities
Should be honest, assertive and systematic

Education and Qualifications:
Diploma in Marketing, Business or Network Technology related field
Relevant training in inside sales, and at least 2 years’ experience as a customer service or inside sales representative for a networking hardware or business/communication application software company
